Rich River First Aid’s Advanced First Aid course is the highest First Aid qualification available to the public. The Advanced First Aid course is suitable for students of all backgrounds. No matter your previous experience with First Aid or providing care in a crisis, an Advanced First Aid Certificate can prepare you to best manage any number of medical emergencies and situations.
Completing the Provide Advanced First Aid course represents attaining the skills and knowledge required to appropriately deliver Advanced First Aid care until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This includes recording the condition of a casualty, completing workplace incident documentation and debriefing for recognising areas for improvement, including management of the incident’s psychological impacts and seeking help as required.
The course will benefit those workers who may be required to provide, coordinate, and manage first aid responses across a wide range of complex situations, including both workplace and community settings.
Learning Objectives
Our Provide Advanced First Aid course covers both a basic First Aid and CPR refresher. As well as the specific and in-depth training required for more advanced conditions, such as:

HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid offers practical, simulated, and real-to-life first responder situations. Only a handful of Registered Training Organisations are able to provide Advanced First Aid training in Australia. HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid is designed to be completed in just one in-class session.
Qualification(s) Issued
On successful completion of this course you will be issued a statement of attainment in: HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid. Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Rich River First Aid (RTO 40990).

After the USI is obtained and online booking is completed; Students will receive their course confirmation email through Vasto, the RRFA Student Portal. Allowing RRFA students to complete their own enrollment, student profile, and account details.
All documentation including pre-course reading and paper-based workbooks is stored using Vasto. Making these resources accessible at any time, as needed. The Vasto student platform is where your certificates can be located, after your successful completion of the HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid course.
